From my kitchen to yours with love
Jyoti is a culinary instructor, food blogger and food photography enthusiast. She has over 13 years of experience in the food service industry. Her culinary journey began at a very young age in her family’s kitchen, where she spent many a summers learning to cook from her mom.
She has a Masters Degree in Marketing and Hospitality Management from Golden Gate University. She owned and operated a catering company for over ten years specializing in providing vegetarian and vegan cuisine in the bay area. She also taught Indian vegetarian, vegan and raw cuisine at Whole Foods Salud Cooking & Lifestyles School in San Mateo and Los Altos for over 5 years. Her artisanal vegan organic cookies were also sold at the bakery at select Whole Foods Market stores in the bay area.
Jyoti is passionate about using organic wholesome ingredients that are seasonal and locally sourced. She loves spreading awareness about Ayurvedic cooking for self healing using Indian herbs and spices.
She currently volunteers her time to teach the Art of Wholesome Eating, a holistic Ayurvedic cooking class for the mind body and spirit through the Art of Living Foundation.
